PG Serif font gurmukhi free download The three 'PG Serif' fonts provide the Gurmukhi equivalents of the two main types of serif fonts that are available in Latin fonts: The Slab serif where a rectangular block is added to the ends of the strokes; and, The Roman-style serif where the block has curves that join the serif to the strokes.

Additionally, the Roman-style serif font has the width of some of the vertical strokes increased by two thirds in order to make it more Roman.

The slab serif font is a thin but full-width font that has a nice, clean, legible appearance with the serifs increasing legibility even more - they are not just some fancy decoration. This font also has a version with Latin characters in the ASCII range.

The Thicker verticals in the Roman-style serif font further add to the legibility of this font.

Both of these font variants are suitable for use both as body text and as a display font.

The names of the fonts in this case are preceded by 'PG' in order to make it easier to locate them as 'Serif' is a generic term and without the 'PG' prefix, they could easily get lost amongst the other fonts called 'Serif'.
